No Mirage dongle with 10.5?

Post by idragosani »

What are the conditions to install TVPaint Animation 10.5 ?

• You cannot use a « Mirage » dongle with that version ;
:(

Will this be permanent for all future releases?

I think it's possible to trade in the old dongle for a new one.

Does the new 10.5.1 version work with Mirage dongles?

Not yet : as you maybe read, we had a terrible bug on the 10.5, so before release for all SKUs, we prefer to be sure that this version will work :)

Be patient, it's almost the end of the wait ! :D

It's hard to be patient when I see all this cool stuff people are playing with!

Hey, is TVPaint validated to run on Ubuntu 13.04? i'd like to upgrade but want to make sure I won't have problems.

We have one person that runs TVPaint on Ubuntu 13.04 without issues, if that answer your question :)

Well, you'll probably have another person who does also :-)

Upgrade went smoothly, TVPaint runs fine in Ubuntu Studio 13.04 without any effort!

Oddly enough, Google Chrome did not survive the upgrade. There was a missing library dependency, I had to uninstall and reinstall :-)
