Re: Update 10.5.0 issues
Okay, that's it then. When I enable the option, it works fine.

Re: Update 10.5.0 issues
Two features I already like in 10.5:
1. The reorganization of the icon matrix when searching for and assigning an existing icon button. I have ALWAYS hated the mass, random matrix display of ALL the icons in the icon folder, making it difficult to find a specific existing icon. Now they seem to display, grouped and ordered, according to the visible custom panels they are part of... and only those icons which are part of the active panels are displayed, offering genuinely easy access. Hooray for the person who designed that!
2. The generation of a custom palette panel from the current palette colors... A simple, but extremely useful innovation to make color management easy. I was delighted to discover that the color palette panel was completely customizable just like any other custom panel (duh). I have several little palette buttons that I added to the first row of buttons, and inserted several horizontal dividers which can expand or collapse groups of colors! Again, big thanks to the person who innovated the color palette panel maker.
Something similar, creating a custom panel based on the custom brush history popup, would be great!
Some of the other new features in 10.5... I'll just have to wait for the new manual to see how they work.

Somewhere, hidden deep in the application, you'll even find the button "Make awesome animation". Unfortunately it's labelled in Hungarian.

Is anyone using Mac OS 10.8.4 experiment some random crashes with TVPaint 10.5 ?

Re: Update 10.5.0 issues
I didn't noticed any crashes, but another weird behavior: If I use the selection tool, I can't use the erase mode afterwards. So I need to restart TVPaint.

Re: Update 10.5.0 issues
Which erase mode ? The Drawing mode "Erase" or the Layer Blending mode ?
I don't experiment this problem.

Re: Update 10.5.0 issues
The Drawing Mode.
Lets say I draw a person, but want to shrink the hands. I use the select tool, select the hands, use the warp tool to shrink them and hit apply. Then I switch to the selection tool again and clear my selection. After this procedure I can't erase anything till I restart TVPaint.
I noticed this behavior in older versions of TVPaint 10, but it disappeared in 10.0.18 and reappeared in 10.5.0

Re: Update 10.5.0 issues
I can't reproduce the bug.
Are you using the Erase mode in the Tool panel or are you using the right click while using the Color mode ?

Re: Update 10.5.0 issues
I'm using the pre-release version 10.5.1 and quite often when I exit I get a popup warning that TVPaint has encountered an error and will have to close, which doesn't matter since I am closing anyway... and it closes without a problem. But I've rarely had this with earlier official releases. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem? If so, is it only because this is still a beta release? I might be able to isolate the cause since it doesn't happen if I just start and then exit TVPaint 10.5.1.

Re: Update 10.5.0 issues
It arrived to me some times, when I was quitting while doing something else at the same time. (Quitting => hop, Firefox...)
When I'm quitting and waiting for the software closing properly, everything goes well.
