Update 10.5.2
Update 10.5.2
The new update looks great, guys!
Is it advisable to uninstall the previous version before installing the recent one?

Re: Update 10.5.2
It's not necessary to do so : it automatically overwrite the previous version, but keeps your configuration.

Re: Update 10.5.2
When I close TVP my desktop firewall gives a warning that TVP is trying to establish an internet connection. I assume that's the Share Manager(...and not the NSA)?

No,no, the share manager can't share through the web.
It can only share files intern network, via cables or wi-fi.
Re: Update 10.5.2
firewall questions are often linked to the dongle drivers, not directly TVPaint. (but the firewall just say it's TVPaint ...)

The warning also appears when I startup TVP. I'll allow it for now.
I attached a screenshot of the firewall warning in my post above.

Re: Update 10.5.2
Hmm,... so it's not normal behaviour then?
I'll block it and see what happens.
Edit: Then TVP won't startup. I guess this is just a strict setting in my desktop firewall. The destination IP (255.255.255.255) points to the local network, if I'm not mistaken. So, no worries. (hopefully)

TVPaint calls the sentinel drivers, then most of the firewalls believe that TVPaint tries to go on internet. (it's against our policy, unless the user want to do so, like when updating)
It's an old issue, but can not be fixed easily.
