Wow! This does bring back memories. Wasn't this the first paint program ever, and on Apple, which gave birth to the soon to become false myth that Apple is for graphic artists?

It was the first one on a PC, and long before MS Paint. Susan KAre designed the icons: http://www.kare.com/portfolio/04_apple_macpaint.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - and we learned them quickly and still use them today.

Oh yeah, now I remember reading about her a long time ago. When all these things began to happen, my two boys were quite small but big enough to be excited. Soon our basement began to fill up with Apple, PC, Amiga, and even the Franklin computers and I can't remember what I saw for the first time on which machine first.

my first drawing software was Pictor on TO7, which had a stylus to paint on the TV directly.
It had 8 colors only.

if I wanted to fill one of those circles with a color, I had to wait 2 minutes of computer calculation.

There was no pressure sensitivity of course ;)
