Layer attributes not copied when copying to another file

Post by Soom »

I have noticed that none of my layer attributes have been copied, after copy/pasting the whole layer to a new file. By attributes I mean image bookmarks and faux-fixe values.
I'm now on TVP Pro 10.0.11
at home: Hackintosh Intel Core i9-9900K, GPU AMD RX 6600 8GB, Cintiq 22" + Dell P2415Q 4K displays, MAC OS High Sierra / Windows 10, TVP Pro 11.7.1 + TVP Pro beta
at work: Windows 10, TVP 11.7.1 Std

You should update, instead of using the old versions. For bugs or feature requests, it's always better to report them with an updated version :)

Bookmarks are not layer's depending. You cannot copy past them.

I don't have any problems with the image mark panel or faux-fixe when I copy a layer and paste it into a new project

Yes, you are right, but unfortunately we cannot update in the studio, cause some other 3rd party software is not compatible with the new 10.5 update, which is a bummer :(

probably not true. :o

The only big difference in the files structure is the .tvpp compression.
So you just have not to check the "compression" box in the preferences, when using the 10.5.x
Not a big deal.

Hmmm.. well Elodie has my pm with more details
I guess it's right, but it's not up to me... although maybe I can try it on my computer alone, and see if they have any problems...

well, we don't want you to disturb a whole production just to know if there would be problems.
Make sure to be able to continue working :)

Well, somebody has to shake those 3rdn party software people - I think they are in deep winter sleep ;o)
I can always to reinstall the older version - don't think it would be a big deal
