Hi TV Painters,
I'm running a mac pro with TV paint Pro 10.5.2 64 bits and when I export a quicktime file in medium or below resolution, at about the halfway point TVP crashes. I can send you the code generated if you like, there's a lot of it. If a render at higher resolutions works, it doesn't have the sound attached to it. I just upgraded to Pro, I've synced my sound rate between the Mac and TVP and I have done a couple of renders that have worked a few days ago. Have I bumped something? Can't seem to figure this out.
Thanks!
V
TV Paint Crashes while rendering
Re: TV Paint Crashes while rendering
Apple does not support Quicktime in 64 bit, so we had to use different libraries to allow our users to use the .mov file format.
So, I advise you to use the AVI (internal) file format.

Or install also the 32 bits version of TVPaint.
Both 64 and 32 bits can be installed at the same time on a Mac, with the same lock/unlock code.
Just be sure to rename the already installed one, or else the new one will overwrite it !
This way you can use the faster 64 bits version for most of the work, and the 32 bits version to export in QT (the 32bits version uses apple's QT).

Quicktime is DEAD. Get over it and move on !
