Hi all.
I used the Line Colorize function in effects to change B&W images into color. It works fine but if I don't use the option for a while and than come back after a few hours or the nex day, the Line Colorize function is gone. In the effect manager it's still called Line Colorize, but the option to choose Fore- or Background is gone. I noticed that in the layer the effect is now called Expand. As I loaded Expand into the effects manager both windows had the same features. To get Line Colorize back I have to delete it and then load it again. After a while it changes back to Expand.
Now it's not a real problem because the tweaking isn't that difficult. I'm just curious if you have the same experience.
Henk.

Re: line colorize
"Expand" and "Line Colorize" are 2 different FX, for 2 different purposes.
But I admit I have some difficulties to understand your post.
Can you grab some screenshot to illustrate ?

Re: line colorize
Hi Fabrice.
Just as I explaned in my previous post. I left this project for a few hours. As I came back the FX Stack next to the image has the Line Colorize FX active but there is no option available to choose between foreground or background anymore. It was there before I left. The only option is the Render mode as it is in Expand.
Left of the screen in Layer untitled 7 you can see that the FX is called Expand. It should have been Line Colorize. I have to close LC and re open it to have the normal features again. Weird.
But as I said it's not a real problem. All the other matters stated in my previous posts are real problems.

Please update your TVPaint version and tell us then if the bug still occurs.

Re: line colorize
Hi Elodie.
Yes it still does. Also when I close the line colorize in fx stack. Load it again. everything oké.
I save the project. I close TVP en reopen it. Again the line colorize is missing the options as before. Weird.

Hi Ematecki.
That's fast. What's the next step. Is the fix in 105.4 ?

Re: line colorize
It will be in the next release, so probably the 10.5.4 :)
