Hi Elodie,
I am on the newest version now, thank you.

I think I can see what is happening with the audio, but it is very strange. It is somehow layering each track that I have imported in the master channel. the track is 20secs long. So now I might have 6 tracks all layered im the master channel, but I can't clear it. or delete the audio that is in the master audio layer. here is a screen shot:

I can't seem to find a way to clear the master audio track.

Thanks,
Lorenzo

Sure you can't delete the master, it's like if you wanted to delete the timeline

You are using color groups and you hidden some of them. If the sound tracks are also in a hidden color group, you can see only the Master (= the total of all your soundtracks)

Thanks, but all I have done is load the sounds in.

My first loaded sound was bad, so I loaded another better version of the audio. Now six attempts later. They are now all playing in the master layer at the same time, but I can't see anywhere an option to clear the audio. Deleting all audio files from the project. It says "load a sound track..." "reload all soundtracks", but there is no option to delete/clear all sound tracks.

Maybe this is not possible?!

Have you tried to reset your interface / configuration ?

I have just tried that now, but no change.

How would you normally delete a sound track?

I am starting to think , maybe my initial version of the software that came on the DVD was buggy and has kept the bugs, even after upgrading?

repeat the same couple of operations for the other soundtracks you want to remove.

Thank you ZigOtto and Elodie, for trying to help but it was a bug in that particular project. After copying all the animation layers over to a new project and loading the sounds again. It is all working fine. :D
