apply the current image on the instances with the same name
apply the current image on the instances with the same name
What a name I couldn't even search for this function, because it's so long.
But never mind that, there is something funny with this possibly very useful function.
It works fine if I use one layer on a project. Everything goes as it should. But If I add one layer on top, button doesn't work anymore. If I add +15 layers, it starts working again, but it adds the changes to all the frames. Not just on the named.
Bug? Clues? Already asked?

Ok, thank you Kari for this video, that's clearer !
Wow, I didn't reproduce exactly your bug, but had a different one : when I apply the change on instance 1, instance 3 is not changed, but instance 2 is ^^"
2nd try : I reproduce your bug.
Okaaaay, let's to do list it !

Hello Kari !
The problem is fixed. As it depends on a George script, no need to wait for the next TVPaint release.
Just destroy your current Animation Panel (right click > make editable / right click again > this panel > delete)
Then, download the Animator below and drag it / drop it in TVPaint. Force Re-install and enjoy

Clone instance,...
Hello TVPaint users.
Anybody knows if it is possible to sort of "update" a drawing(clone) in the time line.
Let´s say On drawing(Instance) number 10 I decide to change something, but the same drawing(Instance) is repeated on frame 20. Is there a easy way to update this drawing(Instance) or do I have to erase
,Copy ,Paste the drawing?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Clone instance,...
this can be done in certain versions of TVP. What's yours? Or to find out directly, look at the Animator Panel; under "Instance" do you see a green icon called, "Apply the current image on the instances with the same name"?

Re: Clone instance,...
You can find a plugin Madsjul put together to streamline the process, right here:
Once you install the tvpx in TVPaint you can find corresponding key commands in your key command panel.
http://forum.tvpaint.com/viewtopic.php? ... nel#p64046" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If you decide to do this, let me know and I can walk you through a further trick how to completely atomize the process.
