No Transparnecy When Loading CustomBrush IllustratorCS6
I have Trouble Loading Brush it always leaves a "white' square image at the Background with when I ClipBoard>Get Brush From Clipboard. Is there Option to Remove White Background and it'll use Transperancy Stroke
Windows 10 64-Bit TvPaint Professional 11.5.3 (64-Bit)

While using the cutbrush tool (B), check that "Display" is not checked.

Is Alpha channel Supported when Using Windows Clipboard? (or are you on Mac?)
Else Export the image you want from illustrator as png with an alpha channel an import it into TVPaint

Re: No Transparnecy When Loading CustomBrush IllustratorCS6
it looks like your brush file is in one of the 24bit RGB formats,
it should be in RGBA 32bit to embed the Alpha chanel
and so take the transparency in account.

How do you Fix it? Is there option to Taken into Account for that? Is in the Suggest Added Feature for TVPaint?ZigOtto wrote:it looks like your brush file is in one of the 24bit RGB formats,

How about just doing it right?
Stuff created in TVP will be on a transparent background and can be cut out like that.
Stuff imported into TVP must be saved in a file format which supports transparency, like PNG, and be created and saved in a way tansparency is preservd.
Stuff imported into TVP without transparency must be prepared otherwise. In case of black artwork on white use the scan cleaner.

please, let us know the whole process of your operation , ... how did you get/grab/copy your Clipboard image first ?TheQuestionMark wrote:I have Trouble Loading Brush it always leaves a "white' square image at the Background with when I ClipBoard>Get Brush From Clipboard. internaly, with the [Copy Image to ClipBoard] command ?
... or externaly, with an OS command, or an other graphic software's command ?
btw, what's your OS, and your tvpa version (x.x.x) ?
in any case, I mean particularily in your case (black typo on white BG),
it's quite simple to paste your clipboard as a new layer, + apply a ScanCleaner_fx,
then move it where you want (or cut it as custombrush)...

But you can always create white background for Black Artwork just use the Square Tool and fill it with White at the back, right?slowtiger wrote:How about just doing it right?

1. You Just Simply Draw on Illustrator.ZigOtto wrote:please, let us know the whole process of your operation , ... how did you get/grab/copy your Clipboard image first ?TheQuestionMark wrote:I have Trouble Loading Brush it always leaves a "white' square image at the Background with when I ClipBoard>Get Brush From Clipboard. 2. You Copy from Illustrator.
3. Then go to TVPaint.

Windows 7 TvPaint 10.5.5 64-Bit
Ya it's working. I wish the Process was a bit faster or simpler.ZigOtto wrote:please, let us know the whole process of your operation , ... how did you get/grab/copy your Clipboard image first ?TheQuestionMark wrote:I have Trouble Loading Brush it always leaves a "white' square image at the Background with when I ClipBoard>Get Brush From Clipboard. or copy in 24bit only (...?)
what happens when you [Copy from Illustrator], then [Paste] in Photoshop
or in any image viewer (XNView f.i.) ?
