custom panels extendibility

I know this might sound petty, but is there a possibility to add Alignment option to the custom panels?
When I create custom panels, I find myself many times frustrated that in order to get the icon in the right order I have to gently cut them and paste them, and slowly craft a compromised structure. If I could select some icons and choose to align them to the left or center relatively, as well as center icons relatively in the panel, i'd be happy.

attached example: on the left is what I have now, but it would be nice to be able to create something like the one on the right.

but hey, it's only me, a pedantic, speaking...

it's already available, not as easy as it could be (no drag&drop),
but playing with "add Vertical Separator" and "add New Line"
make this lay-out possible.

(see "Content Sharing" section)

ps:
btw, a minor bug (?)
the width+height of a custom panel isn't stored/saved in the .bin data .

Of course, you got me again Zig.
I completely ignored the function "add new line", and I was trying to create this setup with horizontal and vertical separators only....

thanks for shedding light on yet another existing feature that I yet again overlooked. (when will be the day that I will be showing YOU something?)
