Of course it would be nice for in the studio, but if all machines could simply on startup load the same shortcuts and panels from a dropbox like system, it would be better.

TVpaint can do this.With Dropbox. This is my setup
1) Copy Your settings folder to dropbox
On my Machine I copy "C:\Program Files\TVPaint Developpement\TVPaint Animation 10 Pro (64bits)"
to "C:\Users\mj\Dropbox\tvp animation 10 pro"

2) Hold down Shift when starting TVPaint then the Startup panel popup
3) Change the Configuration folder in the Popup menu

4) Browse to the Dropbox folder and select the Tvpaint configuration folder
On my machine it is "C:\Users\mj\Dropbox\tvp animation 10 pro"
5) Select which Configuration you need
6) Do this on all your machines
7) I have done this for years long before Photoshop could do this. Because I dont think you can select where to store the Configurations in photoshop

But there's some problems with using both Windows and OS X. (Back to the root of this problem, OS X and Windows are just not the same. This problem doesn't happen with other software's configuration I sync between the 2 operating systems btw)

Currently, my configuration is fine on OS X:

• "Use TVPaint Menu" under the "Interface" tab is disabled on OS X. (Because there already is a Menu Bar, there is no reason to have it there twice and waste screen space, see Mac screenshot)
• The shortcut for "Preferences" is ⌘P
• The shortcut for "Configure Keyboard" is ⌘K

When I start my Windows machine with loads my configuration from the dropbox I have no menu on top (see Windows screenshot), so I can't go to the preferences and turn the menu on. I can't use a shortcut to go to the preferences menu because ⌘ and windows-Ctrl are not the same. And I can't edit my shortcuts because I can't get there either.

Solution:

• ⌘ should always be Ctrl on windows
• Windows-Ctrl should always be ⌘ on Mac
• "Use TVPaint Menu" should never be enabled on Mac
• "Use TVPaint Menu" should never be disabled on Windows (I noticed the option doesn't even exist in the Preferences, so even if you could acces to Preferences, you wouldn't be able to turn it back on)

Yes I see. You cannot use Dropbox to sync when working with different OS. I forgot what the topic was about.

And I actually also have problems with only using Windows. Because at My Computer at home I dont have the same size monitor and I dont have a Cintiq. So I have to adjust my Panels when I use TVpaint at home. And because my settings is synced. I have to adjust the panel layput again When Coming back to work. So to use Dropbox to sync flawlessly I actually would have to have the exact same setup at home and at work. same os same monitor layout. and digitizers.

I noticed this too. It would be nice to be able to sync Custom Panels and shortcuts without syncing window resolution and panel placement.
