Wobbly line when sketching using TVPaint 10 pro edition

I'm having some issues now I use TVPaint 10 pro edition 64 bit

When i'm sketchting my line doesn't seem clear, when i draw a circle it seems wobbly. That is not the case in the standard edition i used.

Why does the pro version do that? i have an pc using windows 7 with 8 GB RAM memory
No other aplications running, it should work fine.

In the menubar go to Windows->Settings->Shape Settings
and check the "smoothing" setting at the bottom

Thanks but I know about the line smoother, but that does not work for sketching.
Both circles i drew without the line smoother. It just bothers me why it is diffrent from the standard edition.

just drawing in Pro feels slightly buggy compaired to standard edition.

I tried to draw many circles with the standard and pro version without line smoothing and I think you are right there is a slight difference.
It does not happen all the time in my case. I would say 1 out of 4 circles gets wobbly.
But you are right in the standard version it seems never to get wobbly.

I also tried to set the line smoothing to 10. In that case 1 out of 8 circles got wobbly in the pro version -but actually it is barely noticeable.

Does it happen with every circle that you draw?

It seems to happen more often if you are a little more zoomed out.
I sometimes like to see the complete drawing field as I draw to have more controle of my composition.
it's not just circle though its most lines i make. Its really distracting because i have to keep re-doing my lines.

That sounds really strange. Unfortunately I cannot compare by myself, but one difference between Pro and Standard is, that Standard is running only at 32 Bit. Maybe an idea to get closer to the problem.

OK, I compared between 32 and 64 bit Pro, but didn't noticed any difference. I also didn't got any wobbles - except my own natural line wobbeling, but not as our picture shows.

Do you have TVPaint 10.5.7 ? If you don't, please update your software.

I do, bought it 2 days ago, and i checked for updates, just to be sure. But there were none.

Please can you (un)check the subpixel/wintab preferences in TVPaint and restart TVPaint ?

I unchecked the boxes in preferences.
The lines seem to bee smother now, but now i cant use the sidebutton on my wacom pen anymore
and now there is a box that keeps apearing when i use the alt or ctrl key.

Hey, i've seem to have found the problem.
WinTab was Checken and SubPixel was unchecked.
When I Checked them both, eveything seems to be working the way it should.

Since a few days I have the same problem.
Can somebody tell me where I can find the subpixel/wintab preferences?
