I just noticed that the 'Configure Keyboard Shortcuts' panel does not have the F10 key in it. It jumps from F9 to F11.
Is this supposed to be like that or is it an oversight on the developers part?
No F10 key in Configure Keyboard Shortcuts?

Re: No F10 key in Configure Keyboard Shortcuts?
That's strange because it isn't present in my panel.
Looks like a small bug in the windows version.
EDIT: I just checked on another windows machine and it's the same; no F10.

Re: No F10 key in Configure Keyboard Shortcuts?
There's a reason for that : the F-10 key is handled differently by the system than the other F-x keys. When F-10 is pressed, the default system behaviour is to "steal" the event for itself, which is not the case with the other F-x keys.
And changing Windows default behavior is not really recommanded.
So that's why there's no possibility to assign a shortcut to the F-10 key on Windows.

Okay. Thanks for enlightening us.
It's not a real problem but I thought I should point it out.

Is there a similar reason in Windows that any shortcut key action assigned to Control Enter is automatically assigned to Control J?

Re: No F10 key in Configure Keyboard Shortcuts?
??? I am working on Win XP and Win 7 for years, and never had any F key stealing anything to the system - I use F10 perfectly in any software... The only moment, when F keys are used for the system, is during the system startup - to invoke all kinds of startup behaviors - but never during normal work...Thierry wrote:There's a reason for that : the F-10 key is handled differently by the system than the other F-x keys.
