Preview animation without having the Camera disappearing

Post by Brusen »

Dear TvPaint,

Is there a way to preview you animation without having the black camera border setup disappearing?
What I usually do, is creating a layer above with a black frame around the animation to shield off my working area. But I guess there is a better way, and not having to do all this setup?

Try this button, it is probably what you are looking for. ("play with camera view" button)

Yes, the camera in general is only available in the pro version.

One thing though, that would speed up the work process, would be having that black camera-border stay as you hit play. -So you can easily fix mistakes in the animation you might spot, without having to zoom out/in to find the area where the mistake is.
I usually have a safe area around my scene so I can store Character-designs and Timecharts etc., that is why I wish to keep my current zoom-position as I hit play.

Is it possible to change that?

I think what you are looking for is not possible at the moment and has been discussed here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5495" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thank you Furushil,
I see you share the same interest regarding the camera view.
-I hope it will be possible in the next version of TvPaint then? :)
