Pen is opaque without any changes to the settings

Post by LizardLaw974 »

Hello! I'm new and I'm sorry for this really dumb question ^^;
I'm working on TVPaint 10.0 on a Cintiq at my school, and when I open it today and use the pen tool, the color comes out kind of opaque. I usually use black for the color of my roughs and lineart, and opacity and power are set to 100%. Yet, when I use it, it comes out grayish no matter how much I tinker with the settings on TVPaint or the Cintiq.
I didn't know if this was a solvable problem, or if its just me being weird or too picky. I'm fairly new to the program, and this has happened, but I can't seem to fix it this time around.
Again, I'm really sorry for this kind of dumb question Dx

By default the pen tool opacity reacts to pen pressure. Set this to "none" to always get 100%.

Or maybe the paper is enabled. Try to turn it off. :-)

also check your Power connection (setting + profile) in the Tool panel,
as well as the opacity setting of your current layer you're drawing on.
