Interface Font

Post by Ron Zorman »

Hello,

This is a crazy problem but one i feel i ran into once before and fixed but i'm not sure how.
I've managed to change the font style for the display interface and can't get it back to what it once was.

The 1st image is a screen cap of my old TVP 9 which I still have but the TVP 10 use to look like this as well
so this wasn't caused by an upgrade. (sorry if this is confusing)

I have uploaded 2 attachments of screen caps
What it use to look like

What it now looks like

TVPaint 10.jpg (108.97 KiB) Viewed 10609 times
I'm running Windows XP
TVP Animation 10 Pro 10.5.7 -32bits

Thanks for whatever help you can give.

ps. love the software by the way

Maybe it would help to know how you changed your font.

what I would do :

1)try to set back the Interface color sheme to "default" (if it's currently on "custom" or another preset),

2)try to start with a New Config, and see what happen (regarding the interface font),

3) if none of 1) or 2) is working, the ultimate weapon consist to edit the tvpaint.loc file*
in WordPad or any other text editor (*... usually not recommended to tweak it),
you will find it in C:\Program Files\TVPaint Developpement\TVPaint Animation 10 Pro (32bits)\Data\...,
there, you can change the font name and the font size to whatever else (among your available vector fonts correctly installed),
but take care and make a backup of the initial tvpaint.loc file first,
so if something is going wrong, you will be able to easily "undo" your own customisation.

Sorry I was unclear.
I didn't change any font on my system or in TVPaint. I just opened it and it was different I must have done something
with a hotkey by accident or something, the problem was I don't recall doing anything.

ZiggOtto,

Thanks, I went right to option 3. and found the problem when I compared TVPaint 10 versions .loc file to the TVPaint 9 version.
Still not sure how or why but as long as it's fixed I'm much happier. Thanks soooo much.
