tvp 32 bit versions no longer work

hiya-

any ideas why the last few versions of tvp 32 bit won't open, but freeze up at blank white 'dialogue' box? and then i need to force quit. (no computer or other tech changes on my end that i know of...)
i usually use the 64 bit versions, but i often rely on quicktime exports to use in after effects since QT is not supported in the tvp 64 version. (the tvp AVI work well, but the file icons don't show as images without some extra software that i need to get...)

Hello Charlie,

Are you running TVPaint Animation on Windows or MacOS ?
Also, have you tried to create a new configuration ? (Preferences > Startup > Open Startup Panel and then create a new configuration when TVPaint launches)

i tried that and it does work, altho' i'm not sure why. is it something embedded in my usual default configuration?
will the problem copy over my usual configuration with all it's keyboard shortcuts, room setups, and tool bars?

btw- my system details should be in my signature; mac 10.6.8 etc.

now when i open tvp 32 bit it does fully open correctly even if i still use the old default config, and not the new config. so creating a new config initiated a general fix or reset or something?
