george command to Get / Set the Play-FlipBook length ?

I would like to read/set the current Play FlipBook duration with a george command,
or is it already existing such a command ?
if not, why not to add the ability to set the FrameRate as well ?
something like :

TV_SetFlipBook [length] [FrameRate]

where "length" is the duration (in frames, or seconds),
and "FrameRate" the i/s nb for the preview playback speed.

Also, when flipbook is played, it seems to loop forward, then loop in reverse, or loop in reverse then loop forward depending on where the current frame is. Why? I wonder if another parameter might be included to have flipbook optionally play forward only?
