Exporting 60FPS GIF Bug?

Post by TheQuestionMark »

I've been trying export GIF to 60FPS is there a bug? The frames seems much slow feels like 2-4FPS. I tried 30 FPS it seems fine normal. Is there a bug exporting 60FPS?

As far as I know their maximal fps are 30. But you can't compare them to a video format, cause every app shows the same GIF at different speed.

What about a 'stream-ish overlay'? I'm not really making it for 'video format'? where you view it directly. Can all app view 60 FPS then for stream-ish style overlay while a person streaming it? I'm making a stream-ish overlay. If someone were to request a 60 FPS Overlay for their Stream i did it for them, someone streaming software like OBS and doing it for 60 FPS. What is the best format for doing moving streaming overlays that moves 60 FPS?

30 FPS capped from GIF? I did 48 FPS before GIF i think it was fine.

I had to look it up, but even now I'm not sure I've understood correctly because that gamer lingo is hermetic.

"Stream overlay" seems to be some graphic which is imported into a game, covering the game's original controls so it looks customised to the player (and maybe other players as well). I only found screenshots so I don't know why and which parts of that were animated. To me it looked just like some elaborated picture frames.

TheQuestionMark: You should dig into the manual of your Overlay Designer Software, there should be some info about frame rates and source material. I don't think you need 60 FPS for this as it's only secondary information, not the main gameplay.

It's not really embedding into the game. It's really embedded out on layer over on top of a video on stream. The way I can show is this http://gamecannon.com/wp-content/upload ... 5z5t3f.png" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , but I want the overlay to have with animation with 60 FPS, not a stilled overlay.

1. Overlay By Itself - http://gamecannon.com/wp-content/upload ... 5z5t3f.png" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
2. Overlay that Layers on Top of Video - http://i.imgur.com/z1VFZ.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

So if GIF is not working at 60FPS. I need something that can do Transparency and Animation. I really want it to have animation moving 60 FPS to make it flashy and different than all the other streamers. GIF was it yet not working, what are other File Formats that can leave transparency and animation? Do I use a green screen for transparency what is the technique and how do I do it? I'm planning to do, doing a couple of overlay animations that are 60 FPS can help promote streamers, so they can promote their sponsors, their team, their ads, and TVPaint! :D

Again: you don't need 60 FPS for an overlay. You may need 60 FPS for some very fast game action, but that's it. All other movements are quite nice with 30 or even 15 FPS. So, which fast movement within your overlay do you plan?

But 60 FPS feels more impactful, (I mean a bit more HD/Source Quality incline). I guess the bottom overlay mostly, I was thinking making Zerg Overlay first. Where the Overlay the Creeps aka 'Purple Goo' Bubbles and Drips over their Team's Clan Tag and Sponsors and they hold by ligaments and attachments, the creep it also moves very glossy too more glossier and fluid than the in game. And the Webcam frame Eyes and mouths will be shifting all over place . For Terran ,a moving robotic arm wielding the overlay. Fumes Smoke at inverval times, as well as peeking the of interior the mechanics, The Wielding for the Team Clan Tag and Sponsors would have License Plate manufacturing approach. For Protoss Crystal Overlay that transitions by , and a moving lens flare and having bit and part of the overlay warping in and out, Holographicing their Team Clan Tag and Sponsors.
