You can play a range of selected images.
But If you want to play just a few images among these selected images. Can you do that?
I first make an animation of the mainbody of the animation and add all frames to make it work.
Then I want to add a secondary movement to that.
If I then see all drawings from the mainbody but just a few from the secondary images it´s a little hard to see the flow.
Dont know if you understand my idea.
Anyone else into this and how you solved it.

I'm not sure If I understand your idea.
But if I want to play a selection of my timeline I use the mark in and mark out options.
You can also change the length of the flip book preview in
windows/settings/preview settings ---> Flip Book field
..
..
..
After rereading your post several times I'm totally sure I misunderstood the first time Xp
I dont think what u want is possible, at the moment. Would be neat if it could.
But I wonder are the main body movement and the secondary movement on the same layer?
If they are seperated layers you could always hide the first layer or lower the opacity of that layer.

Re: Flip selected images
Yes thats a way to solve it.
It would be good if you can mark a drawing as not visible or set color marks on the keys and make only them visible.
But I dont think you can do that.
It always interesting to know how different animator solve their workflow.
When animating on paper I sometimes does not use the light on the ligthboard. I just draw and SEE if the drawings work well. all the time flipping.
If you see the drawing underneath you understand where the next drawing would be put but maybe not see the best movent/ the feeling.
I have a little hard to find that feeling when using only digital but I try to learn and it gets better.

Re: Flip selected images
I have looked into the features of Image marks.
There is a feature called Flip Color 01, Flip Color 02 etc.
This sound like you can set image marks on keys and then choose to flip then during the work.
Tried to set two images to color 1:blue and to make a button with the imageMarks:flip Color 01.
Wells, it did not work. I guess I did it wrong or maybe it doesn´t so what I want.
Anyone knows more about this feature?

Re: Flip selected images
I believe that Flip Image Marks works in a specific way: it flips three images at a time. If you're trying to check your breakdown, for example, and you have a "Key" Image Mark somewhere before and somewhere after your current drawing. You mark your current drawing with an Image Mark and use the Flip Image Marks command, and the program flips from your key, to your current drawing (the breakdown), to the next key. That's it.
It's very useful for checking your breakdowns.
