Missing Side Scroll Bar and Playback Bar[SOLVED]

Post by neko405 »

OS-windows 7
OS architecture-64 bit
Software version-10.5.7
Software edition-standard

Hi there,

My latest problem with TVPaint is that I'm finding that I'm missing a few bars. The scroll bar and the playback bars are missing and I do not know how to get them back. There doesn't seem to be anything in the menus that can back what is missing, at least not that I can tell. I've tried doing a reset to the interface, according to something I saw elsewhere on the forums, but that did not work.

I've attached an image that shows what I am missing drawn in red.
I have drawn in red what I have noticed to be missing.

On another note, why can't I add an image without using "img/url"... I was able to do it before...=.=''

Thanks for reading my post, I look forward to your reply.

Hello neko405,

Go in the View menu and choose Windows, the bars should be back :)

Concerning the img/url, that's strange. Did you use the good tags ? [ img ] (without spaces) / [ url ] (without spaces) ?

Aha! It works! Thanks so much! I don't know why or how I missed that.

Also regarding the image, the last time I posted I remember not having to use any img code or url. I believe had I just uploaded it from an available option. I don't know, maybe I was wrong or have gotten this mixed with something I posted elsewhere. I don't post to the forums often enough for this to be an annoyance or anything. Just found it odd that the images have to be attached as a file rather than a straight upload as an image onto the post.

Anyhow, I was able to fix my issue. Thanks again!

Thierry forgot that when you upload a "big" image through the forum, it can't be displayed...
So don't worry, it's a normal behaviour to make life more simple for people with slow Internet Connection. :)
