I'm using TVP v 11 pro 64 bit on Windows 7 64 bit.
Often when I'm using the transform tool the selection area fails to appear, and instead I get a little red square in the top left corner of the drawing area, which seems to serve no function. I have to restart the program to get the selection tools to work again. What's happening?

This happens to me when I'm accidentially in an empty layer instead of the frame which I want to transform. Always check your active layer first!

Also see if stencil is enabled on a different layer. You cannot use the transform tool when stencil is enabled, unless you use the selection tool first.
