[SOLVED] Contiguous paint bucket?

Post by schwarzgrau »

A Contiguous option has been added to the paint bucket, selection: magic wand, cutting tool: magic wand (works like Photoshop), alongside with a Display checkbox in the selection: magic wand.
I read that the paint bucket got a contiguous option, but could somebody tell me what this means? If I uncheck the option my whole screen get's filled. Is that what it should do?

I think that without contiguous you fill all the pixels with a color close to the painted color, regardless of the location. Otherwise, checked, it checks boundaries to avoid filling the entire image.
