Import project - single frame

Post by timson »

Hi,

I made a recording of a drawing with the drawing recorder.
Shrank the timeline to the desired length and saved the project.
When I reload the project I only have a single frame in the timeline, all the animation has gone...
Am I doing something wrong?

What you do in the drawing recored is always rendered in another clip. :)

I think this needs an alert somewhere in the utility; a popup or such saying to look for the finished result as a new clip inside the Project tab.

But timson is saying here that he shrank the timeline and now all the animation is gone (which says he had to do this with the resulting clip). My guess is that he perhaps neglected to save the project -- just a guess.

Thanks for your replies!

I understand that the result becomes a new clip.
The problem is that when reloading the SAVED project, there is only 1 frame in the timeline...
Is it because the original drawing (made in photoshop) I use as e reference to record has 1 frame?

Hi All,
I found the solution: one has to go to the "project" tab next to the timeline tab:
there i found my resulting clip from the recording.
It's a bit confusing, or perhaps there might be a button that I accidentally pushed.

not a bug, but not a user friendly behavior.
