Pressure sensitivity not working

Post by Anders Michael »

Hi everybody :)

Id like to share a problem im having with pressure sensitivity not working at all in tvpaint (works fine in photoshop etc)
- my setup is wacom intous 4 with the latest driver, TV Paint 9.5 with the latest driver (tried both 32 and 64) and my computer is running windows 8.1 - 64bt operating system

ive tried many tricks - putting on windows ink + putting on wintab and subpixel also.. and my inkpen is also set correctly to pressure...
help!

a problem before that was lines not getting updated as they were being drawn (making dots instead) - but that problem seems to have dissapeared now for reasons unknown to me.. might actually have been the pen) just want to let you know about that issue to..

Any advice would be greatly appreciated - Thank you very much in advance-

Anders.

I think you were just using the "dotted line" shape :)

also - it seems to me that playback (especially the first time you press it after rendering proxy is not in realtime.. is this correct - any tricks to how i playback most accurate?? im not looking for something perfect nessesarily - but as accurate as possible -
The way it seems to work best at the moment is also the 12 fps setting (especially for looping).. does the computer have trouble playing the other settings for some reason - why?? how do i get the most accurate playback?

Thank you :)

ok, but you didn't screenshot the proxy settings and we are still missing the project size.
what version of the 9.5 is it ?
The last one should be 9.5.21 , you should be able to update for free through the help menu.
