layers only showing up in tvpaint pro

Hello

we had a tvpaint project going between a number of different animators, some of whom have pro and others dont. Today we discovered that all the animators in the standard tvpaint cant see most of the layers when they open their project, they've disappeared from the project but when we opened it in tvpaint pro everything was there.

We tried moving all the layers to a new tvpaint project file but got the same result, none or only a few layers would appear in standard but the whole project would be there in pro.


Any idea why and how do we fix it?

The only thing I can think of is that those layers might have had a blend mode in the pro versions. I've understood that TVP Standard does not support blend modes.

(But then blatantly deleting those layers wouldn't make much sense, I'm thinking... One would expect them there in the Standard version without the blend mode.)

Maybe the layers are CTG layers? Could you post a before and after screenshot?
