Pressing right would really loop the images

Hello

I have a simple question ad don't know if it's possible in Tvpaint

I'm animating 12 images
when I press right or left it go to next/previous images. but when I keep pressing right, it play the animation and goes beyong the 12th image.
I chose repeat after the 12th, so it shows the 1st 2nd ... images but the cursor in timeline is not really in the first image
so when I draw on an image (to correct anything) it create a new image well beyond 12th (which I don't want).

Is there an option to make that timeline cursor really loop and go to the 1st image ?

The only way I can think of is to split the layer at the 12th frame and when you're done join the two parts back together again.

Here is a solution for you....

The default for the Right Arrow Key is "Exposure: Go to Next Instance". Instead of using "Go to Next Instance", assign "Exposure: Next Loop" to the Right Arrow Key or another key if you like in the Shortcuts menu. Using "Next Loop" moves to the next instance head but will cause the frame cursor to cycle back to the beginning of the loop after the last instance instead of advancing forward in the timeline where there are no more images. So now you shouldn't have to worry about inadvertently creating a new instance. These functions can be viewed within the "Layer" heading in the Shortcuts menu.

You can also assign "Previous Loop" to the Left Arrow or another key for going backwards. This, as you would expect, will cause the cursor to go to the last instance when you hit the key from the first instance of the layer.
