I love the custom brush features, and they are one of the reasons we chose TVPaint. However, there are still a few features available in Photoshop that I wish were in TVPaint.
The main feature I'd like is to allow color jitter, which enables you to create color that is less flat with increased color depth. Using the Luma Stamp and Luma Invert Stamp allows for some of this, but it isn't as powerful as the tools in Photoshop.
Would it be possible to add adjustable jitter of hue, saturation, and brightness to the brush customization options? Or is there already a way to do this that I've missed?
Thanks,
Scott

Custom brush features
Re: Custom brush features
I've seen some colour variations in the preset brushes which us the "smear" effect, but haven't built a brush with that myself. But I created some animated brushes with elements already being in different colours. Try this, and see how they react to pressue etc in different animation modes.

Re: Custom brush features
I understand your request Scott. Actually, no, you cannot change precisely all these parameters in the custom brush engine directly.
Eventually, you can draw a stroke first, then apply an FX to modify brightness, luma, etc.
Anyway, that's a very interesting request
