TVP 11 Watercolor brushes crashing Mac version

Hello,

In our labs at school we have TVPaint 11, still running Mavericks, and I have found most of the watercolor brushes consistently cause TVP to crash. Clicking on the watercolor, ink watercolor or sponge painting brushes will immediately cause a crash. I believe the Chinese brush and the feather also cause a problem. I had to switch to the PC lab to make sure it was only happening on Mac, so I'm not 100% that it is those 2 brushes in the pencils, pens & felt-tips category, but I know it was 2 of them in the second row. Is there an update that can fix this? I am about to demo for my students on Thursday and I had hoped to show them the watercolor brushes. It is one of TVP's finest features that sets it apart. If anyone has any experience with this problem and how to fix it, please let me know.

What version of TVPaint Animation 11 are you using ? 11.0.0 ? 11.0.1 or 11.0.2 ? Standard or Professional ?

If you are using the Professional, does it happens with the 64-bits version only or also with the 32-bits ?

I assume you are using Standard accounts on your Mac. If so, the issue comes from papers (textures enable with some custom brushes).

To fix the issue :
• open an admin account
• go to "Application"
• right click on "TVPaint Animation 11" > "Show package contents"
• go to "contents" > "resources"
• right click on "papers" > "Get info"
• Sharing & Permissions : "Read & write" for everyone

The next update should fix this issue.
