When I go to New > Import Footage to import an image sequence, TVPaint knows to ignore identical images. ie. If I import ten pictures in a row that look the same it just creates a single image and holds it for 10 frames. As far as I can tell this happens if you have preload enabled, but not otherwise.
However when I import the same sequence using George this doesn't work, even if I include the "PRELOAD" argument. Is there anything else I need to do to make this work the same as when being performed manually? Or is this just a limitation of George?

Re: TV_LoadSequence skipping duplicate frames
You have to run recompute exposures after import with george
