simple copy+paste frames command?

Post by Dookey »

Hello fellow talking animals!

Just bought TVP after years of disappointments with limitations of after effects, toonboom, and flash's hand-drawn look...

QUESTION:

Could someone tell me the most efficient way to copy/paste several frames for length of animation to create "trace back" loop cycle jittery effect?

Seems like such a simple task, yet it's not as intuitive as I'd hoped, and now I'm stumped.

Please send help.

Welcome to the forum. Did you see the sticky post at the head of the Tech Support forum called [Read me first before posting a question] ? You should list those things in your first post --

What is your OS and its version :
- Mac OSX 10.7 (Lion), 10.8 (Mountain Lion), 10.9 (Mavericks), 10.10 (Yosemite)...
- Windows Vista, 7, 8, Windows 10 etc...
- Linux Ubuntu 10.04+, Debian 6+, RedHat Entreprise Linux 5+, Fedora 15+

• What is your OS architecture (32 or 64 bit)

• What is your precise software version of TVPaint ? (for example : TVPaint 9.5.21, TVPaint 10.0.16, 10.5.7 , 11.0.2, etc. )

• What is your software edition ? (Standard or Professional)

• For the Professional Edition : What is the architecture (32bit or 64 bit) ?

(then a lot of us put that information into our signature line , so it saves time having to repeat it and the TVPaint Developers can see at a glance what version a user has when they are posting a question . See my signature line below. )

Thanks, D.T. !

I read/watched all the manuals/tutorials, but it leaves out a lot of basics.
My mistake was that I wasn't highlighting the individual layer before selecting the frames.

Thanks again.
