Playback without Camera View : View finder and follow active

Post by Mads Juul »

I would like that it was possible the Camera View finder(A) and the Camera Follow(B) is active during playback(C) when "Play with the camera view"(D) is Disabled.

Is this clear what I mean?
I want the playback to look as the canvas when I'm scubbing in the timeline and Viewfinder and follow is active.

I guess the implementation of this feature request is relatd to this:

But if you play with "camera view on", you will see the camera view, so you cannot see the view finder...

Correct.
This is why my topic is "Playback without Camera view..."
And I wrote in the first post that Playback with camera view(D) should be disabled

The camera view and the camera viewfinder is two opposite things, which combined is the canvas.
The Camera view is what the camera sees and the camera view finder is what is outside the camera (called passe partout before)
When the camera viewfinder is enabled in the display panel a color is appearing on the canvas to indicate whaat is outside the camera.
It is this color I would like to still see if I choose to playback(preview) without "Playback with camera" view enabled. in this playback the entire canvas is possible visible and there for it is possible to see the color of the camera viewfinder so I can see my composition and what is inside and outside of my camera during playback.

By the way this is the way it is playbacked in toonboom storyboard pro.
Byt in toonboom storyboard pro is is not possible to set the opacity of the Viewfinder(Passepartout) it is always 100%

Yes. That's what happens when you read forums at 6-am7am on the bus
I remember you asked it earlier, maybe 1 or 2 years ago.
