Cartoon Saloon does it again! Amazon, the online store. has a division where they've been making new cartoon series. To do so, they've been letting artists animate a pilot of a full cartoon show. They put the pilots up, let people vote on them, and the one the judges like the best will get full series! One of those shorts was called Eddie of the Realms Eternal and was animated by everyone's favorite Irish studio, Cartoon Saloon! You can read a little more about it here:

I got to see the pilot myself and I was definitely impressed by it visually. I could be wrong, but I think this is the first I've heard of TVPaint being used for a full on animated series and not just a movie. The production values are so high it makes me wonder if they'll be able to keep up with them if they do get to make more episodes. You can't watch the episode on Amazon right now since its in the judging process, but there are some clips on Youtube.
