The lack of color and low-contrast in many of the icons of the new "grey" TVPaint 11 interface is still somewhat wearisome to my eyes.
I'm not suggesting an explosion of 'candy button colors', but I think it would be better if some of the icons are BRIGHTER when they are enabled
for better visibility.
For example - the Light Table Activated/Inactivated icon in the Layer Panel : could that icon be BRIGHTER when enabled so it's easier to see ?
Current icon when enabled in the 'Acier' color scheme -
Proposed BRIGHTER icon:

Re: Please make interface icons easier to see
It's a good idea, but I cannot be done immediately.
A new kind of icon with a specific role that does not exist yet would require to create a new class in the code and making tests to be sure it works properly and don't create unwanted behaviors.
At the moment, we can eventually make the icon for LT brighter (when activated).

I completely agree with OP.
Color coded icons help immensely.
