2014 Mac pro issue and dual monitor with 11.2 tvp

Hi I am using tvp 11.2 on a 2014 mac pro laptop ( with a NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB) graphics card I am unable to stretch tvp from the laptop screen to another monitor or more importantly to a cintiq 22 inch touch monitor ( Mini displayPort to DVI adapter)

Has anyone had a similar issue?

You may have the option selected for displays to have separate spaces (requires logging out to apply a change). I think it's in the control panel under "Spaces" or "Mission Control" or wherever the options for Spaces are set.
