Pen doesn't draw anymore, if used outside of TVPaint

Ya, it was set to "Displays have separate spaces" originality and since I turned it off I rebooted the computer a few times.

I wish I could help in some other way, but I don't know how.

I have made deeper tests, trying both Beta version and released version, with and without Separated spaces, with and without Mirror display, with interface being on 1 or both screens, etc...
I have even tested with different adaptor (using the official Apple adaptator and no-brand one).

I have no idea why it's not working properly on your computers

Oh ! Have you configured a button, so you can switch from "Cintiq" to "normal screen" ?

Jup, one of the side-buttons does this.

No luck... even when using the toggle display, it works perfectly !
(That's probably the very first time I am sad because something is working fine...)

I'm not at my work-computer at the moment, but I thought I could try to unplug the second display and reboot. And hopefully the issue doesn't persist, since everybody suffering from it at least got a cintiq and a second display. Maybe I could also try a real old wacom-driver just to make sure they don't change something in their drivers what creates this problem with TVPaint (but I hope this isn't the case, cause I bet it would be nearly impossible to find).

Wait, I don't get it; if three people reported this problem here, using a mac with different cintiqs and this issue happens only in tvp11, the problem somewhere exists. How am I supposed to discover where does it come from??

I will answer you with another question : How can we fix an issue that we cannot reproduce ?

I really don't know, because I'm not a software engineer! I would imagine that is there some kind of log of what's happening in the software that maybe we can provide you; or otherwise some other informations that we can share to help you identify where is the problem. I think there should be a way to fix that someway.. it's really an annoying bug, because almost each time you go back and forth between tvpaint and another app you have to start tapping with the pen and clicking with the mouse, or pressing with the eraser of the pen to make it work again.

No, there is no log available for the users. It would too much hazardous to let anyone access the code.

But you said that you had a similar issue, even if it's only when mirror display is activated, intuitively it seems that the cause of the issue could come from a similar kind of problem in tvp, isn't it? It's a wacom device with unresponsive pen after switching back and forth from tvp under Mac osx, that's the same issue we're experiencing. So if you're able to reproduce it under certain circumstances, can't that be a starting point to find out where the problem is?

Unplugging the second display didn't helped, but while recording a second video of the problem, I noticed the reason. Not the actual reason, but at least when it happens:

I can draw, switch to another app and can still draw, IF the pen never looses its connection to the Cintiq or if you don't press something on the keyboard, while TVPaint isn't the active window. What would explain, why all people suffering from this bug using a second display.
Can someone else confirm this behavior?

In my experience it is not so predictable; It happens that I switch to another app, use the pen and back in tvp it works fine sometimes. It happens both if I have only the cintiq connected to the laptop or cintiq+external monitor connected to the laptop.
