Change Pen Eraser Settings?

Hi Folks!

I felt certain this is a question that has an answer somewhere on these forums and yet try as I might I just couldn't find it (though I found a number of people mentioning it with from what I could discern no solution). The Surface Pro 4, like a number of other tablet devices, has an eraser on the pen. When you use this eraser it automatically switches your tool to erase mode at size 5.00 with pressure dependence and 100% Power also with pressure dependence. This works great, but I'd really like to be able to customize those settings a bit. The moment I lift up the eraser though, the tool is immediately switched back to its default, giving me no chance to edit the eraser's settings. Any thoughts on how to accomplish this?

I have never used Surface Pro, but if you change eraser settings with the eraser tip, the change should be saved.

Hi Elodie! Thanks for your reply. I've tried changing the settings by clicking them with the eraser, as well as trying to change the settings by any means immediately after drawing with the eraser, and unfortunately the moment I'm done drawing with the eraser the settings immediately revert back to the pen tip settings. Even if I change the pen tip mode to eraser and modify that, the settings for the actual eraser remain the same. I'm sure there's got to be some way around it, but so far it has stumped me.
