I'm guessing this may be a dumb question, but here it is: After I've drawn my key frames, one after the other, and then drag them each to be at the frame numbers that I want them to be at (to allow for inbetweens), when I then do the inbetweens, the prior key drawing is also appearing on the inbetween drawing.
I've figured out that I can right click and then click on "insert images" to allow me to add blank instances after the key, but is there a simple way to drag the key frames along the timeline, leaving empty instances between, rather than using the right click menu to do it?
Thanks!

How do I create keyframes and then drag them to proper frame Topic is solved
Re: How do I create keyframes and then drag them to proper f
If auto-break is on, just go to the frame you want to inbetween and hit "backspace". This will delete the frame you're on.

Re: How do I create keyframes and then drag them to proper f
Sorry Slowtiger, but I'm not understanding that. Perhaps I can reword my confusing question: If I draw my keys, one frame after the other, so that I have a sequence of keys that are all positioned next to each other along the timeline - is there a way that I can then drag them each to positions along the timeline that leaves the number of empty frames between them that I want to then fill with inbetweens?
Re: How do I create keyframes and then drag them to proper f
Ah. You want to extend the exposures first. Read that part in the manual to get familiar with the concept.

This part of the manual, to be precise :
http://www.tvpaint.com/doc/tvp11/index. ... side-layer" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
By the way, I realize it should be explained with a video or a gif rather than a bunch of images.

Thanks Slowtiger and Elodie for your responses! Elodie, I will focus on that part of the manual to see if I can grasp that method a little better. Thank you!
