about light table off pegs behavior

Post by Soom »

There is a tiny strange behavior when using the off-pegs on the light table. whenever a peg is altered, all other selected pegs shift in color - become darker. First I thought it's a glitch, but then I thought it might have been done on purpose, which is a good purpose, but wouldn't it be more intuitive that instead all other drawing shift colors - the selected drawing would change?
thanks

You are right - sorry! here they are.
Without using out of pegs:
no oop
no oop
As soon as I select one frame for out of pegs manipulation, all other frames become darker:
with oop
with oop
Here you can see the selected frame did not change in color. I like the idea of distinguishing the manipulated frame, but IMHO it should be vice-versa
oop moved
oop moved

This bug is even more serious - I realized it when working with more solid dark colors. When one of the frames on the light table is shifted, the other one overlaps the drawing (look at the screenshot). Interesting, that if both frames are shifted, it behaves normal again.

Maybe you have turned the lighttable to "front-mode".
If you click on Instance see if "Blend to front" is checked.

I have exactly the same problem. I've tried both, with "blend to front" checked and unchecked and to me it just looks the same. Are there any other options I could play around with?

OK ! I understooooood ! :D

So yes, indeed, there is a weird behaviour when you enable OOP on 1 instance (image becomes more opaque, for no reason).

To the To do list !
