Mysterious missing layers
So I am sharing a scene via Dropbox so it can be coloured by someone else and when they open it, they only see two of the layers of the six that are meant to be there. We are looking at the same scene in the same shared Dropbox folder. I open it, I see all the layers, she opens it, she sees just two layers. Both using version 11. I am on a Mac and she is on a PC. Any idea what could be causing this spooky behaviour? We checked that both files were date stamped the same too.

Re: Mysterious missing layers
She MUST update to 11.0.3.
As said in the 11.0.3 release notes (here http://forum.tvpaint.fr/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=9058" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) :
"""Projects saved with v11.0.3 using CTG layers will not be able to be (fully) read with previous versions of TVPaint Animation 11 !"""

Quicktime is DEAD. Get over it and move on !
Re: Mysterious missing layers
It requires an explanation.
When working on the v11.0.3, we found that the v11.0.2 and previous v11 versions were not perfectly compatible with the v10.5.7. There was a bug with the introduction of CTG layers.
We had the choice to :
1 - make the v11.0.3 not backward compatible with v10.5.7 but ok with all previous v11 versions.
2 - make the v11.0.3 backward compatible with v10.5.7 but not backward compatible with the v11.0.0 , v11.0.1 , v11.0.2
As the v10 won't evolve anymore and the v11 updates are free for all the v11 users, we decided to take the second option.

Re: Mysterious missing layers
Yup, it was due to compatibility between 11.0.2 and 11.0.3. I should have realized. She has updated and all is good! Thanks!
