Need help with payment solution for my works.

I'm a freelance artist working on TV paint software for animation.

I hope I can get help for my query here.

I have been mainly acquiring the jobs online and have been using Paypal account for transactions. Recently, I am getting many works through word of mouth around my locality and most would prefer to pay by credit card.

I use iphone 6S. I read from a merchant service portal ( http://www.versapay.com/merchant-servic ... yment-app/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) that they have an app that can accept credit cards through mobile devices. It has also listed various other functionalities of the apps like bookkeeping and providing electronic receipts to the customers.

So, my questions are these.

Is anyone here using a similar service for payments? If so , is it a viable option?
What are your thoughts on using this for a freelance job?

Not spam, but I think a better idea would be to ask in forums dealing with payment solutions.

I don't own a credit card, but I recommend to think about these points:
- how much do you have to pay per transaction? (Paypal takes 4% which can become a whopping amount.)
- where are you based, and from where do you expect payments? Does your solution work in all countries involved?
- is the service you want to use legal? (Paypal has a banking license in Germany)

I am based in Canada . I am not sure it workseverywhere.
The solution also looks cost effective.
