Hello, how do I copy a selection on one of my layers ?
I want to copy an element of the layer on another layer. But all it does when I do copy/paste, is copying the entire layer. I just want to copy the selection.

How do I do that ?

How do I do that ?

Use one of the Selection Tools to copy just a portion of an image to a new layer. Select it , then choose the option 'Copy to Layer' (or 'Cut to Layer') to copy your selection to a new layer.
