on a mac osx 10.11.6
does not work.
no panning no zooming when you move the pen while holding Alt
on the same system itworks as normal with a mouse.

Re: Alt doesn't work with wacom on mac
Hi, Peter -
ALT with the Pen works for me . I have one of my Wacom tablet's express keys assigned as ALT . It works with that and also with holding down the keyboard ALT.
I'm on Mac OS 10.11 using either an Intuos Pro or Cintiq 21 UX .
But for me ALT has always only been to Pan , it does not Zoom . How do you get ALT to zoom ? (you wrote: "no panning , no zooming when you move the pen while holding Alt" )
EDIT : well, how about that ?! It does ZOOM. Why did I never know that ALT would Zoom ? If I hold down ALT and the Right-Click Mouse Button assigned to the Pen switch I can Zoom in , too. I think maybe I never knew that because for years I had my Pen buttons assigned to other keys and never used Right-Click as one of the pen shortcuts .
So , both Move (Pan) and Zoom with ALT are working here .

Re: Alt doesn't work with wacom on mac
one mans bug is the other mans meat
Zoom also works in the timeline
This is one of the nice UI features of tvpaint and as it will zoom into the current cursor position, it can transport you very swiftly into the desired spot.
the issue i mentioned was at school, they have new macs and somehow this one wacom would not allow the Alt function to work with tvpaint.
i was wondering if anyone heard of that one.
