Keyframe move not working

Post by David_Fine »

I have a scene which is using another scene as a source. Call the source scene A. Scene A is a bigger field and so I am doing a camera move in the new scene to move around it. When I set the keyframe position as normal, I can set two positions, one at frame 1 and the second at frame 12, and then when I move along the timeline to the third position, frame 40, I see that the keyframe icon in the FX panel is still highlighted even though my cursor is no longer there. I want to create a new keyframe in the third position, but I can't because the keyframe is already on. If I turn it off, it deletes the keyframe at frame 12. The keyframe icon should turn off when I move off frame 12. Why isn't it? I hope the screen grab shows you what I mean.

Funny, I don't see that behaviour here. I can go to whatever frame and create a key either by clicking under the timeline, or by moving my reference point.

Yeah, that's exactly what I would expect. Maybe I should restart TVPaint and see if that fixes it...

Okay, I did restart and it fixed it, so I will leave this post here as a reminder that restarting cures a number of ills.
