I need the tutorial recorder to do some lessons, but ..I don't know how to use it!
I click on the record button but nothing happens...then i click on generate and is the same.
Would you like to be so nice to explain to me how does it work?

The first button is used to start the recording , the second stops the recording and generates an image sequence on the TVPaint timeline. Then you can export that to a .AVI or .MOV as usual.
If nothing happens when you do that then I'm not sure what the problem is , because that's all there is to it .
Did you update to 11.0.6 ? Before in 11.0.3 (and earlier version 11) the Tutorial Recorder was not working on Mac. Now it works on Mac with version 11.0.6.
*NOTE: Tutorial Recorder now works in TVPaint Standard Edition (32 bits) , but only on non-Retina displays. In the TVPaint Pro 64bits version it works on Retina displays.
So if you have TVPaint Standard (32bits) and are running it on a Mac with Retina display it won't work.

Re: Tutorial recorder
Just in case you would be in a situation that involves a Standard Edition on a Retina Screen, you can also use Quicktime to record videos

Re: Tutorial recorder
Thank You all!
I'm downloading the upgrade now and I hope will work.
But I'm pretty sure it will..
Otherwise I'll use Quicktime to recording as Elodie suggested!
