But for the time being I am pleased with the ILLUSTRATOR.
How do you flip between drawings in Adobe Illustrator to check for consistency of line placement and the volumes on the drawings ? Maybe I just don't know Illustrator well enough (I don't ever use it) , but it doesn't seem to have a timeline or onion-skinning to be able to flip between drawings to do accurate clean-up and inbetweening (?).

If it works for you , that's good, but I think you can get the same (or almost the same) results by adjusting the brush parameters and using the Line Smoothing option in TVPaint, and also using the technique of carefully erasing out parts of the line to make it thinner/more tapered if necessary. I guess my approach to clean-up is more of traditional approach , the same as I would clean-up with pencil or ink on paper. For digital clean-up with Vector line I think I'd choose to use Moho or Toonboom. There certainly are more options for "adjusting" the line after it has been drawn by manipulating the vector points , but to me that process of pulling vector points around is always so slow and tedious compared to just re-drawing the lines . But to each his own ... whatever works best to get the best results on screen.
Ok.

Here's a recent version of my CleanLine button that lets you select from various sizes of PenBrush with Pressure-sensitive and constant-size options.

The CleanLine Button first loads a "default" PenBrush. Then, from a menu, the user chooses how the PenBrush is customized.

Hello! :)
This is a terrific gift for all of us.
But apparently you did not watch all the pictures and videos that I posted in this thread.
With a slow movement of the hand from point A to point B at the end, I have a blunt end of the line. This is the main problem solved in Illustrator.
Thanks!
