Sierra, I downloaded it just from a different computer and QT /.1 played it very well.
Did you try RMB and 'save target as' ???

Well, this worked on my better computer but it got stuck at 15.3 MB on the other one.
Anyway, the clip gives me all sorts of mixed emotions. The animation is very illustration based; it's as if you had a painter's syndrome that makes you dwell on stills you find pleasing. This gives everything a stop and go feel. I dare not say more because it looks very unfinished and I don't know where you are going with this; more animation or is this it? Are the ant-like people in the first scene going to ping-pong like that or are they going to continue with more animation? The same for the waves washing ashore; is the loop going to be better closed, or is this it?
If the film will continue in this style, I'd suggest using more narration to support the imagery, but that's just the way I work and it's not right for me to say what you should do... there are just too many unfinished bits of animation and graphical ideas (which I like) for me to come to a conclusion. I'd like to know how completed you consider this to be.

That's what I had to do -- the first time I got the same as Sierra.

I did save the link as (Firefox) the first two times, but not the third. I did just now with the mp4 and it works fine.

imo the embedded sketchy office scenes are almost done,
the pier scenes with their shortcuts, pingpong loops, missing inbetweens and their abrupt transitions are in concerns of animation rather unfinished

Now I'm really stumped! When I clicked on your most recent link, it opened a page full of code I don't understand. I wonder if there is a problem on my side.

Thanks Klaus, that worked. I really liked the clip. I thought there were a few areas where the pace was a tad slow. Are you keeping that audio track? It came out a bit tinny on my machine. I love your drawing and animation style, as it is unlike anything else I've ever seen.

Manda, the audio track is still a placeholder and so I didn't any mastering on audio.
BTW: Here's a direct link for the streaming flv-file, which should play on any operating system and any browser, which has the actual flash-plugin installed.
It has some advantages: less data, and I think better quality as H264, far as I can see.

Klaus,
As always, I love the little playful moments- the penguin; the chook and dancing pencils.
All the best with the work,
Jules.
PS. And with panoramic sound to boot !
