I have no plans, or desire for that matter, to do any projects for the cinema. I am very much interested in the internet, iPad and these new large screen mobile phones at the moment. Projects can be smaller, faster and even heavy FX Stack work goes lightning fast. This is partially why I am interested in a workflow that might allow for one project size which may be 200% or 300% larger than the camera view, inside which I can create just about anything I want. Not doing HD may limit potential venues the project can exhibit in down the road, but the trade-offs might be worth it. Who knows?

I find I can do anything I need with any size I need and in this project I have lots of seascapes with everything on the screen in motion. The only drawback of the Camera tool is that it sometimes takes two or three separate renders if you want the BKG to remain stationary or split two or three camera moves -- but all the functions are routine and very intuitive to get done and, of course, lossless. I often think about how far TVP has come in the last 5 years -- we are light years away from the days it was called Aura or Mirage. The possibilities of making a living over the Internet are wide open and very promising. I tell my students that the days of preparing for a studio job are just about over now and what they need to concentrate on is how to invent their own occupations.
