Yay! I got a convert (almost). There is a good reason to have the camera position indicator under DISPLAY because there are often occasions when the box can get in the way of drawing and it would be more complicated to have to open the camera just to turn it off and then return to the pencil (3 steps). This way it can be done with pencil still in hand by going directly to where all the other displays are turned off and on (a single step).

I always work in inter face full screen(v) . And have short cuts for selecting camera and returning to last tool. so for me to reach to display is actually a more complex thing than going to the camera tool. which I do all the time. The major reason to put it by the camera is simply that is is logical. and because new users can't find it they simply will not use the camera tool because they have the same experience as sewie. But why not put it both places. becase it refers to the camera and to the display. so in a way it is logical. you can toggle it both places. But I find it strange that such an important setting of the camera. can I see it or not. is not part of the camera properties panel. that's my humble opinion

Mads, I agree when you put it this way -- so how about having it in both places? This wouldn't be the first case; many functions are available to the user in more than one place.
